Local runners will not be running a marathon at Tybeel in February this year. The Tybee Lighthouse has been a backdrop for the Savannah Marathon for more than a decade.

A former Ebenezer Middle school student and teenager who spent most of her life in Savannah died Friday from injuries she suffered in a two-vehicle crash last month in Milledgeville.
